Coniston campsite

Today was the official rest day, and the weather was great, despite the event from yesterday being cancelled due to the rain! Quite a group of us walked up the Old Man of Coniston, which was really nice and there were great views from the top. I fancied a dip in one of the tarns on the way back down, but it had cooled considerably by then and I thoguht better of it. This evening there was an urban orienteering event around the streets of Coniston, but we gave it a miss and I took some photos instead (supposed to be a rest day after all).

I got some OK photos of the walk up the mountain, and of the orienteering, but chose this one of our pictureque (though noisy) campsite.
