phew blip backlog done. pc is so slow that i am reading while the photos upload. the book's a bit annoying and overdue at the libarary but i feel that protestant work ethic thing about finishing it. (black swan green by david mitchell, read cloud atlas and loved it. this one feels a bit vague but i think that's the point)

slept lots. made soup and stew. went swimming. started work on cb2's halloween costume - he's going to be headless nick (we've been doing a lot of harry potter in the car..) with his head under his arm. cb1 wants something from asda.

three days to the shoulder op. had a dream about being stuck in a lift and someone making a very half-hearted attempt to help me out. j reckons it means i'm scared. i reckon she's right.
