The early bird catches the wave

I was up super early this morning and in Bournemouth for 7am. After doing the job I spent a couple of hours peering from the pier and watching the surfers. It was a shitty day but that's of no concern to the surfers (and it allowed me to get a nice slow shutter speed). This chap was the best. The others seemed a bit half-hearted and indecisive when it came to catching a wave and so missed most of the surfing.
