Keeping score

This weekend we taught ourselves how to play gin rummy (with this deck of cards, which is nearly as old as I am).

It's a little amusing that, for a couple with five math degrees between us, we have such a hard time with arithmetic. Yes, I'm 27, have an MMath, and still need to carry my ones.
