Quintessential Kiwi Porch

This porch has attracted my attention (and Canterbury's) every time we are in Hokitika. It's just so ... well, Kiwi.

Last time we were over there, there was a guy sitting on it drinking beer and he was more than happy for us to take a picture. Says it happens all the time. They have a couple of resident cats who seem to hang out there. Noone but the cats there this weekend but still a great looking porch.
