Portrait of "Jim"

This is "Jim" (not his real name). I came across him in a bar in Brunstfield in the late afternoon. He said it was his birthday and introduced me to the barmaid who he said was his daughter. I got the impression that he used to be a senior figure in some large organisation before everything went tits up, but it was hard to understand him through his slurred speech. He said that he'd spent all his money on a boat but nobody wanted to know. But that was OK, he said, cos Hibs still wouldnae win the cup.
