Pot 'O Sauce
Just as surely as the tomatoes ripen on the vine, the time will come this winter when the snow will be thrown about by howling, angry winds. When that day arrives we will be sitting inside in our warm, steamy kitchen enjoying a spaghetti dinner with some of the home made sauce shown here.
This will have to cook the better part of two days to reduce the water content and meld the flavors. Then, tomorrow, the canning begins.
Anyone who has ever tasted any of Missy Ann's tomato products knows what a treat is waiting for me. Wow, I wish you could bet a whiff of how wonderful the house smells right now.
