Granddaughters

We are in Seattle for a few days to do some grandchild-sitting. Today we took Tatum and Fiona to the Aquarium and among other OK photos, I got a fairly good one of an oystercatcher eating a clam. But we have oystercatchers on our beach at the island I've been trying to capture so felt it was cheating to use the ones in the aquarium with green bands on their legs. I'll wait for the real thing and post the picture of the girls. (Remembering that part of my focus in this journal is to keep track of the time we spend with the grandchildren.)
