The Magic Door
Today I went over to Cromford, the birthplace of The Industrial Revolution. For the revolution to birth in such a beautiful, idyllic location will seem at odds with many peoples view of the Industrial Revolution as being akin to the fires of hell.
I found this doorway across the road from Cromford Mill & stood next to the canal, but strangely apart from anything around it. It seemingly leads nowhere, but the way nature has reclaimed the structure, with ivy growing at its base, gave it an almost magical, otherworldly quality.
I will leave it to your imagination where such a doorway leads. Somewhere nice, I hope.
Have a great weekend everyone.
