On becoming a Tomato

I wonder why tomato flowers aren't red. I wonder why chickens love to eat squash plant leaves but leave the weeds. I wonder why Hilda keeps flying out of her free-time play pen I have set up and then worries herself sick to get back inside. I wonder if we will get all the big chores done on our to-do list before the in-laws arrive in a couple weeks. I wonder if I've chosen the right color to paint the front room. I wonder how long it will take my Taxman to paint the ceiling. I wonder how my front door will look painted purple. I wonder if I can think of still another way to use all the tomatoes in my garden.
