Big Bird and Grover

I've been thinking a lot about my Canadian pal Claire and her lovely family. Her grandpa has just been moved to a hospice...it's always so hard to say goodbye.

So, when I was looking for indoor blips tonight and I came across Big Bird and Grover sitting on the bookshelf, it seemed like the perfect choice.

Claire and I met when we taught English in Japan and we travelled for another year or so together. She's 6ft - and we used to call her Big Bird - and I used to do a Grover impression (I was 22!).

She sent me these crazy pair one year for my birthday and they've been a feature in my various abodes ever since.
