Dor Beetle

Today I went to the woods hoping to find some porcinis. I've never had such luck before, but I was very determined to find these lovely mushrooms. Luckily I found quite a few, and this big fella (Geotrupes stercorosus) was also there. I also found few small chantarelles and MANY deer flies. But it was all worth it, because tonight's menu is going to be........
.....risotto ai funghi porcini!
