The winner

Dargle Duck Race

He has the winner.

Forget about the Grand National or the Derby. The Dargle Duck Race far outshines any of these. The idea is that they place as many yellow ducks upstream in the Dargle River as are bought by contributors. They are all numbered and you pay 5 Euro for Barretstown House childrens charity founded by Paul Newman and your get a duck with a number on it. First pass the Dargle bridge wins the race and gets a 1000 Euro.

Number 99 won but only after a steward's inquiry. Number 914 had passed the bridge first but he seemingly had no owmer. The stewards are trying to find how he got into the race without an owner.
