Coincidence!

This week has been a week of coincidence and none more than this morning when I was reading Stieg Larsson's book The Girl Who Played with Fire and two of the characters both had been members of Friskis and Svettis (see page 250) - 'Svensson had a membership card to the Friskis and Svettia gym chain .......... and Johansson .... also had a card to Friskis and Svettis.'

I had never heard of them before and then I went to the Newhills Church Fair and found this stand. It turns out to be a Swedish keep-fit organisation with almost 500,000 members across Europe.

They have bases in Sweden, Norway, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Paris, Brussels, London and Aberdeen. It is a fun and energetic Swedish-style exercise. It is called Swedercise.

You learn something new everyday and in the weirdest places!!.
