A Grand Day Out

Phew, what a day. Having heard about Cairney farm from a few people (including Tonto McDuffs Blip ) , we decided to take the visitors and kids over there and mess about in the maze. It was great. We all had a great time, until the heavens opened and down came the rain.

So, decided to go to Anstruther for some fish and chips to round off the day. Never disappointed!

Seemed like everyone had the same idea. There's at least 3 chippies on the main street, each of which have won this or that award, and each one was queued out of the door when we left.

Ended up in an old fashioned sweet shop for "desert". Whats that saying about kids in a sweetie shop? It was the adults rather than the kids that couldn't make their minds up.

We ended up leaving with bags of Cola Cubes, Bon Bons, Tablet, Rhubarb and Custard, and Rose Buds. The kids all had ice cream. Typical!!

Anyway, today's Blip. Noticed this young couple sitting on the harbour wall sharing a fish and chips and since i haven't really done much observational shots decided that's the one for the day. I felt like an intruding voyeur taking the shot and guess i need to get over that feeling...
