Purity

When Ethan was a newborn, I loved dressing him in baby blue coloured outfits. However, these days I'm past that stage and like him in bright colours and denims. Apart from white. There is something still so pure and fresh about seeing him in white, whether it's his sleepsuits or a chunky cardigan like he had on today. Even one of my neighbours who stopped to chat to us earlier when we were out for a walk, commented on how he looks like a newborn again today.

We had a nice morning with Granny who had stayed over last night. (Grandpa went home yesterday). I have to admit, we were glad of her help today as we'd had a rough night last night with Ethan. Even though we're sticking to his bedtime routine, it just hasn't worked this week and he wouldn't settle after waking during the night. In the end hubbie had to get up which is unusual as usually I deal with the nights myself. So both of us were rather bleary eyed today!
