This is a Sid playing his Dobro (also known as a Resonator guitar). When he started playing the blues several years ago, a man walked up to him in a bar and said, "Here, play this". He took the guitar in the picture out of it's shipping box and handed it to Sid. It was brand new, never played. Sid played it for the evening while the man listened. At the end of the night, Sid thanked the man for allowing him to play the beautiful instrument, and went to hand it back to him. The man said, "You just hang onto it for a while." The man left the bar. He was never seen again. And, no one had ever seen him there before. Sid says this guitar was given to him by an Angel. If you could hear it, you would agree.
