Hail to the chief

Wow - just when you think the NZ winter is over, a major storm with thunder and hail hit the Bay of Plenty ! -
I haven't see the grass this white for a long time!
Imagine driving around with this kinda weather - luckily by the time we went to visit some friends, the sun had come out again ( four seasons in one day ). The kids at our friend's place had some hail put into the fridge. Some of it was huge!

Brrr... bring on spring!
