Blackberry picking . . .

The sun is shining... The breeze refreshing but with just a hint of autumn... The blackberries are as plump, sweet and abundant as ever... My ratio of berries-in-the pail versus berries-in-the-mouth has increased to 2:1.

I am sure there are better, more relaxing things to idle away one's time.

But, I am hard pressed to to think of any at the moment...
