Cheesemonger's portfolio

Yesterday I had a last minute invitation to help out a friend of my girlfriend's sister's wedding. We arrived three hours before the ceremony started but although a sort of mad panic gripped the household, there wasn't too much left to be sorted. We helped out by directing traffic, moving crockery up the hill to the marquee and sorting out the cheese boards.

The setting was fabulous; a beautiful house in the country just north of Aberdeen, with a huge field for a marquee and all important beer tent.

When the official photographer found us taking photos of the cheese boards he wondered whether we were from the cheesemonger and were doing the photos for our portfolio! All credit for the professional arrangement (with parsley) goes to my girlfriend. I did the crackers which, unsurprisingly, were less photogenic.
