Ruby Beach

Another day, a new and amazing campsite, another amazing beach. This morning we had to get up and move campsites because the campground is totally booked up. But, it ended up being even better since we moved to site #24, right near the beach, and it was a perfect campsite and the white noise from the waves drowned out any other sounds. We carried our tent, ghetto-style, still-assembled, from one side of the campground to the other. In the afternoon we went to Ruby Beach which could not have been any more perfect. It had a huge island and lots of sea stacks just offshore. It had a river flowing into it with driftwood beach logs that children were riding. Amazing! We drank wine and fell asleep in the sun. Unfortunately this gave me a massive migraine that made me completely sick but it passed after only two hours after Mr. Apple heroically ran to the store (literally ran!) to get me some ginger ale and ibuprofen.
