Matthew Street Festival
Took a trip on the Mersey ferry to the Matthew Street festival in Liverpool today. Took a number of photos trying to capture some of the characters there.
However for my blip I have chosen this fine pair of bronze doors. They are the work of Thomas Stirling Lee who was one of the principal sculptors on St George's Hall. The panel reliefs are on the theme of brotherly love. The building started life as the Adelphi Bank but now house a branch of Cafe Nero.
