Just playing

If you'd seen this 70 years ago, you would have run away to hide; or you would have already hidden. But today? We just looked up and marvelled at the flying, then grinned as the three mustangs gave chase and pretended to shoot and he pretended to crash. I can be impressed with their flying skills, and that these machines are kept going, but it still makes me too sad. I'm not of an age to have been there, I just know people who were. Should we "celebrate" WWII? Is this commemoration, or is it too much fun?



For the pedants, it's a messerschmitt 108, which was communications, the 109s were the fighters; but stood on the ground 70 years ago, I don't think I would have known that.
