Gibbous

Last night we were supposed to watch for "two moons". Actually it was the earth's moon and jupiter, which was so close to the moon, and bright, that it looked like a second moon.

This morning's shot was through a Televue 101 telescope with a camera adapter. The 50mm reported as a focal length is bogus. The actual focal length is 540mm and the aperture is about 5.4.
