Heather Bells

Out for a walk through Portlethen Moss this morning and spotted this upon the heather bells (Calluna vulgaris, True heather). Not sure what it is?

Portlethen Moss is a recognized nature preserve by the Scottish Wildlife Trust and Aberdeenshire Council. It is an acidic bog nature reserve in the coastal Grampian region in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
