Poppy

The poppies in our garden are still popping up all over the place. They do a great job of diverting my eyes from the weeds as I walk up the path.


I got this lens as part of a bundle deal when I got the camera in April. I've used it maybe twice so it's about time I figured it out. Going to take a while I think, it's huge but I do like the macro switch on it for using at full zoom. Maybe need to get a tripod as the slightest movement results in blurry nonsense. Cue more wee bug photos taken from a distance....
