Meatloaf

Meatloaf is a comfort food that I have always wanted to make from scratch. Yesterday, in our cooking class we were taught to do an old Filipino recipe of Embutido or also known as meatloaf. In our own version, we put raisins and cheddar cheese and bread buns soaked in sweet milk. Since tomorrow is my Dad's 71st birthday, I decided to do this meatloaf for him. Actually "meatloaves" because I made 5 logs of this.

Here are my ingredients for my own Embutido:

ground pork
raisins
sweet green bell peppers (picked fresh from my Dad's garden)
cheddar cheese, cubed
carrots, minced
salt
pepper
eggs
bread buns soak in sweetened milk
more milk
sausages
