Old Duke jazz festival

A Bristol legend on the pub and music scenes, the Old Duke held its jazz festival this weekend and it was everything I expected it to be.

Despite being incredibly hungover from yesterday and being tempted to crawl back to bed, I knew that if any of Bristol's other festivals were to go by I'd be a fool to miss out.

The stage was set against the Welshback and the list of performers included local and national jazz, blues and soul bands and singers.

And with a few beers down me, I quickly got caught up in the atmosphere and was up dancing on the table as the street came alive with quality music while the night drew in.
