Packing up

Edinburgh Fringe ends today. Somehow the Royal Mile seemed a bit quieter. On the Castle Esplanade the workmen have already started dismantling the stands for the Edinburgh Tattoo. But the Edinburgh International Festival continues this week, and our incoming guests at the cottage had tickets to some events. Next weekend it's all sporty here as the city gets ready for the Edinburgh Duathlon, and of course a big fireworks finale to the EIF. Party on!
