Today was a nice relaxing day. I'm making new friends, meeting new people. It's great. At the same time, I miss my college friends who are abroad this semester. It's going to take some getting used to, but I know they're having the times of their lives and they'll be back soon enough! (in December).

Each year, the school puts on a "block party" for the freshmen down in the main green area on campus. It is always awkward, but at the end there is a great fireworks show. This year, it seemed like it got a little bit stingy, but it was still nice to be on that side of campus. I met some new people, including a girl from Alaska, and hung out with some friends who I've missed over the summer!
