The Patterson Farm, Barn Series #6

Well, the barn is no longer here and these structures are all that's left, other than the farm house, still occupied.

Mel & Avis Patterson were forced to tear down the vintage barn some years back. Although they no longer farm their property, they have withstood all developers and commercial realtors that have circled like vultures for years around their 100 acres. But sadly, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Interestingly, Mel Patterson has a sister who is also sitting on some acreage nearby. She has resisted selling her property as well. I believe they want to finish out their lives where they've spent most of it, and who can argue with that.
