"shotten" in the park

Today is the last day of the summer holiday. In the afternoon I had 5 girls in the house. Lots of chatter, as you can imagine and all these girly things. So I decided to break up the afternoon for some play in the park. Funny thing - even though it was the last afternoon of the holiday, there was hardly anyone playing in the park (just some runners and people walking their dog).

The weather was very overcast, so hardly any light... not making great photos. The only decent one was this one (but only after I increased the contrast in photoshop). At the end of our time in the park they decided to play football (shotten). You can see Pippa, preparing for kick-off.

Tomorrow it is back to school for Abbie and Pippa. My university doesn't start until the end of September (luxury!)...
