About 10 days ago I saw some strange white mounds at the end of the garden - too big to be cukoo spit, I thought some rubbish had blown in and went to investigate...

Imagine my surprise when I found three very large mushrooms (or toadstools?). They grew to approx 6" across. Two have collapsed and have almost disappeared into the ground. This one remains. It has turned brown on top and tipped over so I expect it, too, will soon return from whence it came!
