Cautley Spout, Howgills

Last public holiday before Xmas, can you believe it. We took advantage of the fine weather and headed to Sedburgh in the Howgills for a walk to Cautley Spout waterfall, highest in England and then onto The Calf highest point on the Howgill Hills. At 2200ft they aren't giants but easy walking on a summers day but not a place for the ill equipped in winter. For those of you who travel the M6 these are the hills north of Jnc 36 to the east. The water fall is just right of centre.
