I started out my 65 year venture in American spirituality as a Mennonite and so I can tell you with authority that the answer to all of the above is YES, WE CAN! As a reformed Buddhist I can also tell you that what you perceive is history once you know you are perceiving it. So just don't think about it, but take it in. Simplicity opens.

I thank Rene M. and all the people whose work I watch and admire - and you know who you are - on the great Blipathon for improving my sense of minimalism so that I might hope in my own eccentric way that this is an interesting composition even without flourish and applique. (You would think as an artist and curator I would already know this, but knowing and practicing are two different things - there is that reformed Buddhist thing again.)
