Artichokes

I am told these vegetables present a lot of problems regarding the etiquette of how to deal with them


I cannot say i have ever been troubled with one, all the artichokes I have dealt with have come out of a jar, antipasti style, but I did have a brief wonder about the propriety of hanging over the fence to photograph my neighbour's veg!
