Digging 25: LUNCH!

As the season changes, and different areas of the site become the focus of activities (and sunlight), we change our lunch venue, to different sets of steps round the quad.

Most of this crew is getting an extension to their contracts for the rest of Sept; we're trying to make sure that everyone gets experience in excavating a skeleton...a very useful addition to their CV's for other jobs.

I'm still on SK9. I found a shroud pin (basically exactly the same as a modern dress-making pin, but copper rather than steel) in amongst the vertebrae this afternoon.

Out last night for a curry with the lovely Mel, so fell behind in commenting (again!) will catch up later....
