Southbourne beach
Another lovely day, stopped off at Hengistury Head/Southbourne beach where I found this seagull on guard at the end of a groyne. The one thing I learned from this exercise is that I need to make use of my zoom lens better; the result of this pic was getting slightly wet :-)
2 days till weekend
And the little winds of twilight are dearer to my mind.
The great waves of the Atlantic sweep storming on their way,
Shining green and silver with the hidden herring shoal;
But the little waves of Breffny have drenched my heart in spray,
And the little waves of Breffny go stumbling through my soul.
