The Road Trip

Today began like any other......little did I know that was going to change when I dropped the kids off to school!!

"Do you fancy a bike ride. It's all downhill" she said with a smile on her face. After making some excuses I thought I had managed to escape the torture but oh no. You see linz knows I am full of excuses and if she asks twice I am such a soft touch I end up agreeing.

After driving for what seemed to be ages, and going over many hills (which at that point seemed like mountains) we got to our drop off point and we had to cycle all the way home again. This is Lindsay, who was waiting patiently at the end of our journey for me who was always about a mile behind.

I am so glad I did it and I felt great after - even though I was bright red and radiated more heat than the sun!!
