Indian Summer

The plumbing in our house has now been fixed, and we're once again able to do those wonderful little things like drinking tap water, and flushing the toilet. This alone would be enough to make me happy, but on top of this good fortune, we also appear to be getting a nice old indian summer at the moment, which almost makes up for the wash-out of the last two months.

As this is likely to be our last spell of good weather till next April, I scurried out to the pub to meet a couple of old mates after finishing work, and we had a few pleasant beer-garden pints. Around six, we decided to throw caution to the wind and have an impromptu barbecue, my first of the summer. Well, better late than never, eh?
