The Bath of Shoes

Yes odd I know.

We went to see a play at the festival named Morningside Malcolm meets the Weegies (Glaswegians for non Scots). The play is about Malcolm, a conceptual artist with a secret (he's really from Glasgow not Edinburgh) and is set at the opening of his exhibition of his latest piece, The Bath of Shoes.

He explains it represents the journey of his life and the path he has walked through the display of all the shoes he's ever owned in his life, in a bath.

My attempt is not nearly as profound, nor is this all the shoes I have owned in my life, that would fill several baths (I suffer from a slight handbag and shoe obsession). I need to clear out my shoe collection which is bursting out from the bottom of the wardrobe so I thought it would be fun to recreate Malcolm's art piece whilst sorting them out. Still not narrowed the collection down much...
