Today, I had training for supervisors at work at 11.
Then, I went to my first day in a Social Psychology class. My professor also works at the Culinary Institute down the road and says that we'll have a party with food from the Culinary on the last day of class. Yayy! I am actually very interested in seeing how this class goes. The professor gave us a list of facts and we had to decide if the statements were true or false. I was surprised by a lot of the answers.

Do you think each of the following are true or false? Here are some examples:
a) We tend to see the people in our own groups as more diverse and different from each other than we see people in other groups.

b) "Birds of a feather flock together" holds true in interpersonal attraction (i.e., people are generally attracted to those similar to themselves.)

c) Women "fall out of love" more quickly than do men.

Answers:
a) true (my answer: false)
b) true (my answer: false)
c) true (my answer: false)

Just thought that was interesting. Did you think what I did or did you get it right?

Anyways...after class I had work again. We were training new interviewers. So classes and work are almost back in full swing.
