My daily commute

Ahead of Earl........

For my last vacation day of the summer, I went to St. Martins, New Brunswick today. After suffering through 33-35 degree temps over the last week (not to mention the humidex) it was wonderful and refreshing to spend some time in temps around 21. Although a bit hazy, it was a beautiful day in St. Martin's....but if Earl (hurricane or tropical storm) hits the the Fundy Coast, this beautiful little village could look quite different tomorrow.

I saw two covered bridges in the village and crossed this one (don't forget to toot your car horn) on the way to The Caves Restaurant which boasts to serve world famous seafood chowder. Well, I'll just say that I would strongly recommend you order a bowl if you ever find yourself in St. Martins.
