English Bay

Our new apartment is a stroll away from the beach and English Bay, which on a day like today makes it very much a great location.

Pictured here in the Inukshuk, a stone landmark which is an ancient symbol on Inuit culture. It was used as the logo of the 2010 Winter Olympics. It lights up at night as well, so expect a photo of that at some point.

We got internet in the flat today.  A very efficient operation. We had a window of mid day to 2pm for installation. The engineer was here at 12.05 and by 12.15 he had left with everything installed.  And we're getting double the download speeds, hopefully they won't notice that mistake.
