First Day of 6th Grade

My son started 6th Grade today and, with that, the final year of elementary school.

It has been a family tradition each year since Kindergarten for my wife to make a custom shirt with the fabric of my son's choosing for the first day of classes and school pictures. This may be the last year for that since he is now very conscious of being "cool" and shirts made by mom may not cut it with the junior high crowd next year.

Since this is likely the end of an era, I am presenting a retrospective of the past seven years of "First Days" from Kindergarten through 6th grade....
