Posting a letter

Needed to post a letter while out shopping and this postbox on the lane in East Farleigh caught my eye. I just loved the red hawthorn fruit (are they called haws?) framing the box. I think it looks a bit Christmasy which is a bit worrying this far out - it's still late summer here in the Garden of England.

Had I not gone with this shot you'd have had to endure the repeated double entendre about these lovely birds on my newly installed feeders.

Go large - you know it makes sense.
