Assignment: Observe

I like the description of this area in the book, Classic Dolomite Climbs by Anette Kohler and Norbert Memmel; "The Cinque Torri stand proud atop the high plateau of the Novolau, a huge mass of rock split as if by the devil's hand. Viewed from a distance, they appear almost mystic, like the great holy place of some ancient cult. Yet up there on the green grassy spur they resemble more a picture book idyll, a vast children's playground with massive building blocks of stone scattered there simply to amuse. At the weekends, lots of big kids come here to play."
