Sandend

The weather wasn't as good as i had hoped today but it didn't stop us wrapping up warm in our winter clothes and heading off to the beach. When we got there it was really nice. It is a bit unusual in the north east of Scotland for the weather at the beach to be nicer than inland.

We parked up and the kids were soaked through within around 5 minutes of us arriving so they all ended up having to paddle in there pants, which my son was not too pleased about!!

Lindsay had brought along Ella (her 1979 campervan) so we were able to have a nice chat, cup of tea and a couple of chocolate brownies while the kids all moaned about being wet, needing the toilet, having the wrong kind of crisps with us, not having their wetsuits and any other thing they could find to complain about.

Overall we did all have a nice day at the beach and had a tasty take away for tea.
