Who am I to disagree?

Enter the ladies

Cycled down to the post office to pick up the extension tubes which they attempted to deliver yesterday while we were at Minsmere. Then on the way back popped into the local nature reserve's hide. Having just had a quiet day at Minsmere I had a very quiet half hour seeing in total four birds: Woodpigeon, Mallard, Moorhen & Grey Heron (pictured), but then, enter the ladies.

Just as I was telling them how quiet it was they spotted a Water Rail wandering across the mud in front of the hide, then a kingfisher flew across and perched just to the right and a flock of long-tailed tits visited the tree to the left. Don't know who they were, or whether they were related to St Francis of Assisi, but I'd like to know their lottery numbers.
