12th and Albany

Headed over to Staples Center to pick up some Clippers tickets for next weekend. I was glad to see Kobe made it onto Hotel Figueroa's billboard images once again -- just in time for the Lakers season opener on Tuesday. And I'll be taking a day off work to attend. That, at the very least, gives me something to look forward to.

The new Nokia Theatre is up and running, making parking even more difficult than it already is. The never-ending construction in downtown doesn't help either. There's nothing like circling countless blocks in an effort to find a parking space that doesn't cost 20 dollars, only to end up settling in a random neighborhood 2 miles away.
